Collaboration with BETA FEST, Ltd.

 “BETA FEST” Ltd. is a well-established Bulgarian engineering company founded by graduates of the Technical University of Sofia and specializing in the design and manufacture of machinery and automated lines for the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries, including packaging machines, bottling lines, and dosing systems for various products. Even today, a significant portion of the company’s engineering team consists of graduates of the university. The collaboration between “BETA FEST” and TU – Sofia encompasses not only the professional development of young engineers and the completion of thesis projects based on real-world production challenges, but also joint research and innovation projects. Among the successful outcomes of this partnership are the development of an innovative station for carbonating mineral water without cooling and a specialized foil-wrapping machine, both of which have subsequently found practical application in the industry. The partnership enables the university’s scientific and engineering potential to be transformed into real-world technological solutions, while allowing students to gain practical experience even while they are still studying.
