The twelfth edition of the "Internships 2024" employer exhibition will take place at the Technical University (TU) in Sofia on April 16. On April 17, it will continue at the TU branch in Plovdiv, the university announced.
The "Internships" exhibition is the largest university event in the country. At the event, businesses get to know their future engineers up close, who are being trained at the largest and leading technical university in Bulgaria and the region, part of the European Technological University EUt+.
At the exhibition, students have the opportunity to find suitable positions for their first professional internship and gain experience in a real work environment.
Parallel to the exhibition, the online studio "Internships 2024" will be broadcast, during which companies will present information about their activities, as well as about free internship positions and scholarship programs.
The Technical University in Sofia is developing new specialties - aerospace engineering, smart manufacturing, and smart cities. They will meet the modern requirements of business, giving our specialists the opportunity to realize themselves in all spheres of society. In addition, business is also involved in the process of developing the curricula. This was stated a few days ago by the Rector of the Technical University, Eng. Ivan Králov, on the air of "Day Live" on Nova News. Prof. Králov noted that the rule according to which, if a semester in one subject is not approved, a student cannot take exams in others, has also been abolished. However, to proceed after the second year, all exams must have been passed.
