The Technical University – Sofia traditionally awards diplomas for acquired scientific degrees and academic positions in the days around May 24

A few days after May 24, the Rector of the Technical University – Sofia, Prof. Georgi Venkov, awarded diplomas to 8 professors, 24 associate professors, 46 PhDs, and 2 Doctors of Science at a ceremonial event in the "Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov" Hall. Diplomas for higher academic positions were awarded to 28 senior assistants and 3 senior lecturers.

According to Prof. Venkov, the diplomas are evidence of their growth in scientific and professional terms and are a source of pride for the Technical University – Sofia.
