TU-Sofia Students Win an Award at STARTUP FAIR – ULSIT 2025

On November 13, 2025, the SolarBlinds team participated in STARTUP FAIR – UniBIT, where 39 Bulgarian startup companies presented their products and services at specially designated booths at the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (UniBIT). The event brought together entrepreneurs, investors, students, and innovators to encourage collaboration between science and business., to stimulate the development of new ideas and support the next generation of entrepreneurs.

SolarBlinds is a project developed by students of the Technical University – Sofia consisting of Denis Ismetov, a master's student at the Faculty of Economics, ILyan Stoyanov, a student at the Faculty of Automation and Alexander Kolchev, Master's degree holder at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Technologies.

This inspiring event gave the team the opportunity to present the development of SolarBlinds and to meet new partners and like-minded individuals. Thanks to the huge interest and support from visitors, SolarBlinds, having gathered one third of all votes in the online vote, won the "Best StartUP ULSIT 2025" award.

The project received a statuette from the Stone Center, a special award for services in the field of business, marketing, and law from the Founder Center and Pleggi, as well as a special award from Forbes Bulgaria magazine.
