The Rector of the Technical University – Sofia, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Kralov, awarded deserving faculty members of the Technical University – Sofia

On 30.11.2022, at a ceremonial event in the building of the "National Center for Mechatronics and Clean Technologies", campus "Student City", in the presence of the members of the Academic Council, the Rector of the Technical University – Sofia, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Králov, presented the "Golden Medal of the Technical University – Sofia" and certificates to distinguished professors of the university.

For their long-term teaching, scientific, and administrative activities and their contribution to the development and enhancement of the authority of the Technical University – Sofia, and in connection with the celebration of a round anniversary, the following distinguished professors were awarded: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Pencho Georgiev Venkov from the Faculty of Automation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Anastasia Petrova Krsteva from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Technologies, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Dimitar Serafimov Aleksiev from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Technologies, Prof. Dr. Eng. Mikhail Hristov Anchev from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Technologies, and Prof. Dr. Eng. Yordan Genov Genov from the Machine-Technological Faculty (now the Faculty of Industrial Technologies).

Posthumously, a golden medal and certificate were awarded to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Petar Dobreve Dobreve from the Machine-Technological Faculty (now the Faculty of Industrial Technologies).

Prof. Králov congratulated the distinguished professors and closed the ceremony with the words: "Congratulations to the awardees, and let us wish that we, their successors, will be worthy followers of their work!"
