Project BG05SFPR001-3.002-0001 “From Higher Education to Employment” Has Launched at Technical University of Sofia

Project BG05SFPR001-3.002-0001 “From Higher Education to Employment” has launched at Technical University of Sofia. It is funded by the Programme Education and co-funded by the European Union.

The main objective of the project is to enhance the pragmatic value of higher education by providing students with opportunities to gain practical experience and obtain skills in line with the needs of the labor market.

Practical training (student internship) is considered successfully completed when it is conducted in real work environment and includes the execution of assigned tasks over a period of 240 hours. Upon completion of the practical training and after the report is filed, the student is paid a stipend in the amount of 552 euro. 

The practical training is conducted individually or in groups with assistance and under the supervision of a mentor from the respective organization, and under the guidance of an academic supervisor from the higher education school.

The start date for the practical training must be in accordance with the SCHEDULE FOR THE SUBMISSION OF STUDENT CONTRACTS, published on the TU-Sofia website.

Contracts of the training organizations and mentors are accepted in the TU-Sofia Registry Office at the following address:

Once the contract signing procedures with employer organizations and mentors have been completed, copies of said contracts will be available in the Registry Office.
