Awarded with high honors teachers and students

For achieving outstanding results in research, development, and applied activities and contributions to enhance the public image of the University as a national and international research center, in connection with milestone anniversaries and for excellent performance in teaching activities, the Academic Council, at its meeting on 26.11.2014, awarded the following faculty members and students:

• Prof. Georgi Todorov, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Technology, with a gold medal and certificate.
• Assoc. Prof. Mosko Aladzhem, Faculty of Public Management and International Studies, Head of the Central Laboratory for Computer Graphics and Geoinformation Systems, with a gold medal and certificate.
• Assoc. Prof. Dimitar Dyakov, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Head of the Laboratory for "Coordinate Measurements in Mechanical Engineering", with a gold medal and certificate.
• Prof. Stefan Penev, Deputy Rector for International Cooperation and Training of Foreign Students (1983-1987), with a gold medal and certificate.
• Prof. Bak. Zdravko Evstatiyev, College of Energy and Electronics - Botevgrad Campus, with a gold medal and certificate.
• Prof. Bak. Nikolai Petkov, College of Energy and Electronics - Botevgrad Campus, with a silver medal and certificate.
• Assoc. Prof. Elena Vrbanova, FPMI, head of the Computer Mathematics team, with a certificate.
