The implementation of the UNIThe project has begun.

The implementation of project BG05M2OP001-1.001-0004 UNIte (Universities for Science, Informatics and Technologies in the e-society) under the Operational Programme "Science and Education for Intelligent Growth" (OP SEIG), Priority Axis 1 "Scientific Research and Technological Development", procedure BG05M2OP001-1.001 "Establishment and Development of Centres of Excellence", Component 2 "Informatics and Information and Communication Technologies" has started.

The project is funded under the Operational Programme "Science and Education for Intelligent Growth" and through it, the European Regional Development Fund will finance the approved budget amounting to 29,781,883 leva.

The partner universities are academic centers with a long history and significant scientific achievements in the field of Informatics and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT):

• Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski"
• Technical University of Sofia
• Ruse University "Angel Kanchev"
• University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov" Burgas
• Shumen University "Episkop Konstantin Preslavski"

The project will be implemented jointly by the partner universities by the end of 2023.
